What is this drug used for?
Flonase is a nasal spray for the treatment of seasonal and year-round nasal allergies.
Who should not take Flonase?
Anyone who has a hypersensitivity to fluticasone propionate or any on the inactive ingredients
How do I use Flonase?
It is important to know that Flonase® doesn't treat just symptoms of nasal allergies, but helps relieve the underlying cause--inflammation. Flonase® should be used once a day, every day, not just when you have symptoms.
What are the possible side effects?
At recommended doses, Flonase® is effective and well tolerated. Side effects are generally mild and may include headache, nosebleed, sore throat, and nausea and vomiting. Though more serious side effects can occur such as hypercorticism and Cushing's syndrome. Symptoms of hypercorticism and Cushing's syndrome are serious changes in the appearance and health of the affected individual, which would include a gain in weight, moon face, thinning and weakness of the muscles of the upper arms and upper legs, easy bruising, and blood pressure changes. If any of these serious side effects do occur contact your physician or pharmacist.

- Do not share this medication with anyone else
- Store this medication at room temperature. Throw away any unused medicine after the
expiration date
